AMUX invite you to join them: POSTPONED UNTIL THURSDAY 21st APRIL at 5.15 PM Wednesday 20th April at 17:00 (unless there is a religious service) To visit the church of San Bartolome (XIV century) in Jávea town Tour of the Bell Tower* The most outstanding building of the historical city centre of Jávea is undoubtedly the Iglesia-Fortaleza de San Bartolomé (St. Bartholomew Church-Fortress) dating from the 14th to the 16th Centuries, with expansions in the 18th and 19th Centuries. The main work is framed within the Isabelline Gothic style. Its importance and history motivated its declaration as a National Artistic Monument in 1931. Visit led by Joaquim Bolufer, Xàbia’s Muncipal Archaeologist, Director of the Museum of Xàbia and President of the Amics del Museu de Xàbia. A resume in English will be available and translation by a member of AMUX. Meeting Point: the Museum main entrance at 16.50. Visit will last approximately 1.5 hours Places will be limited.
