Aims

a) Promoting awareness and dissemination of information about the Javea Museum and its collections, both among members and the general public.

b) Participate in research and dissemination of History and Culture as well as the conservation of the historic, cultural and artistic heritage of Javea and other towns in the Marina Alta.

c) Collaborate in cultural activities and functions of the Museum of Javea:
  • -Conservation, cataloging, restoration and exhibition of their collections.
  • -Research on the scope of its collections and the historical heritage of Javea and the Marina Alta.
  • -The organisation of periodic scientific and educational exhibits.
  • -Creating and publishing catalogues and monographs.
  • -The development of educational activities with respect to the Museum's contents (monographic courses, additional training guides, etc.).
  • -Any other function that complies with the rules or laws relating to museums (lectures, concerts, film screenings, concerts, tours, travel, solo exhibitions, etc.).
d) promote, as far as possible, the knowledge, conservation and growth of the Museum of Javea's collection.

e) promote, as far as possible, scientific and cultural activities specific to the Museum of Javea and its different sections, so it is a living centre, integrated into Jávea's society and that of the rest of the region, and open to participation.

f) develop relationships with other cultural associations of Javea and the region.

g) Establish personal, friendly and formative relationships between members.

h) Provide money for the purchase of additional materials, printing guides in different languages ​​and provide receptions for acts and inaugurations of the Museum.

Activities

a) excursions of an archaeological, ethnological and historical nature.

b) Visits to museums, exhibitions, etc..

c) Organisation of and attendance at courses.

d) Organisation of conferences, symposia, roundtables, workshops, exhibitions, screenings.

e) Presentation of papers, books.

f) Participation in outside activities of the Museum.

g) Development of a website and a blog.
