THE ROYAL MONASTERY OF SANTA MARIA DE LA VALLDIGNA
The monastery, of Cisterian style, was founded in 1298 by King Jaume II “The Just” and in use until 1835. In 1991 it was acquired by the Generalitat of Valencia and is now being restored to its old artistic and arquitectural splendor.

THE MOSQUE OF LA XARA
The mosque is one of the most important remnants of the muslim religion in the ancient Kingdom of Valencia. Built about the 15th century AD, it was in use until 1525 when all Muslims were forced to convert to Christianity.
The guided tour will be in castellano with an English resumé available
